PlusBus for Health is a new pilot service offered by ECT to transport people to and from GP surgeries. The service aims to reduce the number of GP house calls and no-shows at surgeries, and simultaneously improve the well-being of patients by providing the opportunity to leave their homes and increase social contact.
The service is not currently available to everyone. GP surgeries are referring people who are eligible to ECT.
This is a shared service which will run to provide transport for as many people as possible.
To find out more, please speak to your GP to see if they are taking part in the pilot, or email email@example.com.
