Please note: Dorset Community Transport is not subscribed to certain government schemes around discounted fares. These include the Bus Fare Cap or this summer’s Kids Go Free In August. However, these schemes are optional for operators and, as much as we’d like to, we are unable make them work for our organisation.
We always try and access these schemes where possible – for example, our concessionary travel is supported/funded through local and central government. We also understand that the cost of living is a real issue for our passengers and thanks to a mix of some specific funding, stakeholder contributions and our own charitable objectives, we aim to keep fares low and affordable
