Trustees' Week takes place 7-11 November and at ECT Charity we want to take this as an opportunity to recognise the fantastic contribution our Trustees make to our charity, and to say thank you.
We are delighted to have a board with experience from a wide range of backgrounds and who bring their talents to support ECT Charity as we live through a period of considerable economic challenge. Our focus has always been on supporting those who need it most, and during these difficult times, we know charities will play a central part in the collective response. However, charities themselves face pressures and there is rising demand on our services with significantly increased costs associated with the cost-of-living crisis. Coming so close on the heels of Covid, these pressures represent a huge challenge for so many organisations.
Our Trustees are ultimately responsible for seeing us through such difficulties. It’s a real responsibility and we believe trusteeship is not given the platform it deserves. Trustees’ Week is an opportunity for us to publicly acknowledge and celebrate the work of our trustees - their contribution, passion, skill and commitment. We want to say a huge thank you to all our trustees as we know the value and the difference you make to ECT Charity.
