The festive season is nearly upon us – and it wouldn’t be Christmas without ECT in Cheshire’s festive day trips.
We’ll be running day trips for our PlusBus members to both the Trafford Centre and to Bury Christmas market every weekday between Monday November 20th and Friday 1 December. The trips are designed to help you get ahead on your Christmas shopping – or just enjoy a day out, getting into the festive spirit.
If you’re a PlusBus member, booking is open now – just call the office on 0151 357 4420. Tickets are £5 return – the usual PlusBus fare. The vehicles are fully accessible and there will be a friendly Passenger Assistant on hand if you need a bit of extra help.
If you’re not a PlusBus member, but find public transport difficult to use due to age or a mobility difficulty/disability, then you should consider joining. Our PlusBus service provides door-to-door transport, picking you up from an address in the Chester, Neston and Ellesmere Port area, taking your destination and bringing you safely home afterwards. Our day trips aren’t the only festive cheer from ECT in Cheshire. Because we know that our PlusBus members like to be out and about more at Christmas – going shopping, visiting friends and family and so on – we’re putting on extra vehicles for the whole run up to Christmas. That means our PlusBus members can make plans with more confidence – although we still advise you to book as early as possible.
