PlusBus services to and from Bridport

Bridport ‘A’ Service:
- This service runs to and from Bridport on alternate Wednesdays
- Starting from the Marshwood area at 9:30, the service travels via villages including Birdsmoorgate, Thorncombe, Kittwhistle, Drimpton, Broadwindsor, Stoke Abbott, North Bowood, South Bowood, Salwayash, and Dottery
- Return journey departs 12:35

- This service runs to and from Bridport on alternate Wednesdays
- Starting from the Catherston Leweston area at 9:30, the service travels via villages including Wootton Fitzpaine, Whitchurch Canonicorum, Ryall, Chideock and Symondsbury

Bridport ‘C’ Service:
- This service runs to and from Bridport every Wednesday
- Starting from the Long Bredy area at 9:30, the service travels through Litton Cheney, Puncknowle, Swyre, West Bexington, Burton Bradstock, Shipton Gorge and Walditch
- Return journey departs 12:30

Bridport ‘D’ Service:
- This service runs to and from Bridport every Friday
- Starting from the Bradford Peverell area at 9:30, the service travels through, Stratton, Grimstone, Frampton, Maiden Newton, Wynford Eagle, West Compton, Askerswell, Uploders and Loders
- Return journey departs 12:30

Bridport ‘E’ Service:
- This service runs to and from Bridport every Friday
- Starting from the Toller Porcorum area at 9:30, the service travels through Higher Kingcombe, Hooke, Powerstock, Nettlecombe, West Milton and Mangerton
- Return journey departs 12:30

How much does it cost?
A return fare costs £9 (reviewed annually). The majority of our PlusBus services are cash only and we are unable to accept any card/contactless payments. We continue to accept the National Bus Pass. Simply present your valid bus pass to the driver each time you travel!
Register before booking
To use the service, you’ll need to register first. It’s free to join and all you need to do is call us on the number below to get things started.
How to book
Call us on 01258 287 987 between 9:30 and 14:30 Monday to Friday, (excluding bank holidays) or email us at dorset@ectcharity.co.uk. Once registered, trips can be booked up to 2 trips in advance but no later than 14:30 the previous working day or 14:30 the Friday before a bank holiday Monday.
Please note: We do not run on bank holidays. No PlusBus services run between 25th December and 1st January.
