What is PlusBus and can I use it?

Our PlusBus service provides door-to-door transport for people who find it difficult to use public transport. You can register if you are unable to use public transport and/or have mobility difficulties.

Where and when can I travel?

You can travel anywhere in the Borough of Ealing between 9am and 5pm, Mondays to Fridays (subject to availability).

How do I register?

Before you can book PlusBus journeys, you’ll first need to register. It’s quick and easy to do – find out more here.  If you'd like to talk to us about eligibility, please call us on 020 8813 3210. We will ask you for details such as your name, age and mobility requirements.

How do I book a journey?

Call 020 8813 3210 or email ealing@ectcharity.co.uk

Bookings can be made 1 – 4 weeks in advance of travel. We may be able to accommodate bookings at shorter notice, but we will always need at least 24 hours’ notice.

You can make one-off bookings and also, subject to availability, arrange regular weekly bookings with us (so that you only need to call us if you wish to cancel).

How much does it cost?

All new members receive 3 free return journeys (valid for 3 months). After that, single trips will cost £5, return trips will cost £10.

How is PlusBus funded?

We do not receive any subsidy for our PlusBus service – we provide it as part of our charitable objectives and public benefit to help improve transport opportunities to individuals within the community.

I have used the PlusBus community bus on a weekly basis for many years now. The staff in the booking office have always accommodated my needs where they are able to or an alternative solution is always offered. I have always found the booking staff very friendly and helpful.
